Fun for all the family, an intriguing tale that has it all, moggies, mayhem and muck! Kids of all ages will love it. A refreshingly different tale of a lovable rogue and band of misfits, leaving havoc in their wake in this cross country adventure. |

Full of action and
attitudes, this is an absorbing read for children of eight and upwards.
The characters are brillantly brought to life with vernacular-peppered
dialogue and illustrations full of movement. |

This book is talking about facts no
one can argue with. It proves how the world we live in is leading
to its own destruction...It may happen soon! |

Sand, surf, sun and peace: that was
the dream when Sharm headed for Asia. The balmy climate, the prospect of
new friendships with fellow carefree souls who came from everywhere for
an open-ended holiday. Surely this was the ticket of escape from her
dad's cold shoulder and the bullies who stripped her confidence? Adulthood and its shackles, for now, could come later. |

Like all youngsters Millie is
inquisitive and sometimes doesn't do as she is asked. One day against her
parent's wishes she digs and digs and just keeps digging. What Millie
didn't expect amongst other things, was a new road... |

change the way you view your life, your place in society, and what you
are led to beleive, possibly changing your present life-path.

For Sharm, there was Red, with his
inviting smile and wild ideas, and there was cocaine, which seemed
completely harmless. But then so did Chinese heroin, until it
became a master without conscience |

Addiction, it turns out, doesn't
make exception for good intentions. There is no intermission with drugs;
cocaine and heroin continuously search for new victims. As for Red,
sometimes an anchor can pull a person to the bottom of the sea. |

Just wanted to say, this book
is hilarious, I really enjoyed it! Should be made into a TV prog. |

| "Scraping the Sky" is a racey, pacey, page-turner of a novel laced with real experience, passion, and evokes memories of South East Asia. It is a path that could be trodden so easily, a real horror story, with traps every which way. This book should be entered into the school ciriculum for teenagers to replace "Shakespeare" and the like... It would teach a far more important message to the youth of today. All kids should be reading this stuff as a matter of course!" |
